The campaign strategy of Governor Obaseki has taken a new turn as he is using all he can to solicit votes from his people.
More recent is the call to end godfatherism using Lagos state as an example. The campaign slogans read: “Say No to Godfatherism and Dictatorship” and “Edo no be Lagos” which is in agreement with the popular insinuations that Lagos state is like a pawn in the hands of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is said to still rule Lagos 13 years after he left the power seat.
